YIELDS: 1
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 serving Dose & Co Beauty Collagen
½ cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
¼ avocado
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
2 medjool dates - pitted, remove the pit
Optional glaze: take fresh chopped strawberries and blend using a blender, before straining into a serving glass. Alternatively, you can use 1 tsp of natural strawberry jam
Optional yogurt: 1 tbsp coconut yogurt or thick Greek yogurt
METHOD
BLEND THE STRAWBERRY BEAUTY SMOOTHIE:
In a blender, combine the almond milk, frozen banana, frozen strawberries, Beauty Collagen, avocado, maple syrup (if desired), and the pitted medjool dates. Blend until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined, creating a smooth and creamy texture.
PREPARE THE GLASS WITH GLAZE (OPTIONAL):
For an added touch of flavor, you can create a glaze using fresh strawberries or natural strawberry jam. To make the glaze, cut the tops off fresh strawberries, quarter them, and blend them into a smooth puree. Strain this puree into a serving glass. If you prefer, you can simply use 1 tsp of natural strawberry jam instead.
COAT THE GLASS WITH YOGURT (OPTIONAL):
For an extra layer of creaminess and presentation, coat the sides of the glass with coconut yogurt or thick Greek yogurt. This step adds a lovely contrast to the smoothie and enhances its visual appeal.
POUR AND SERVE:
Pour the strawberry beauty smoothie into the prepared glass with the glaze or strawberry jam base. The contrasting layers create a feed-worthy final result!
